Office manager Crystal Castro has been coordinating with Partners in Progress to sponsor Coastal Commission beach clean ups through the adopt a beach program. Island Packers has adopted Harbor Cove, a small beach across from the Ventura location. However, IPCO has also organized beach clean ups on Santa Cruz Island, and coming up September 6th, there will be a clean up at the Ventura Pier.

Everyone is invited to join Island Packers in our effort to make a difference for our local beaches, and all the wildlife that depends on a healthy ocean and coastal ecosystem. Island Packers knows how to have fun, and beach clean ups are no exception, prizes are awarded in a variety of categories, and the company is always good. We will even provide a card that you can have stamped by IPCO, earn enough stamps by helping with beach clean ups, and/or taking trips to the islands, and you can earn a free day pass to Anacapa or Santa Cruz Island.
