Gray Whale Trips, December 26th - early April.
Trips that set out to view the migrating gray whales depart from both of our locations;
1691 Spinnaker Dr. in the Ventura Harbor, and
3600 S. Harbor Blvd., in the Channel Islands Harbor, Oxnard.
Whale watching tours are 3 to 3.5 hours long. Locations are designated in the schedule as VTA for Ventura Harbor departures, and OX for Channel Islands Oxnard departures.
Blue and Humpback Whale Watching Tours, June - August
Two species of endangered whales, the blue and the humpback, find refuge in the nutrient rich waters of the Channel Islands National Park and the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary. See the schedule below for Island Packers seasonal excursions for blue and humpback whale watching. Departures are usually at 9:00a.m returning to the dock between 4:00 & 5:00p.m. Please confirm departure times when making your trip reservation.
