Wildflowers on the Channel Islands
After a couple dry years, this year the wildflowers are back in bloom. As of mid March 2008, the rains have inspired nice blooms on both Anacapa and Santa Cruz. The grass lands are green, and on the way out to the islands visitors have been treated with sightings of whales and dolphins. Mid April there will be a trip to Santa Barbara Island.
